What Flower Will Your Audience See?

"Find the seed at the bottom of your heart and bring forth a flower." --Shigenori Kameoka

How often do you think about what you have to offer?  What you have to share with others, especially that which is powerful, helpful, thoughtful, needed?

Every chance you get to appear before an audience - virtually, physically, or otherwise …. on paper, for instance - it is your chance to find a seed.  And do not try to convince yourself you have no seed, that you have no flower.  Self-talk will scream this at you; others may even try to say the same, but know better.

You do.

You have seeds upon seeds and flowers upon flowers … rows and rows of them as far as the eye can see.

"So why do I have so much doubt?" you ask.

It's because …

... either no one has ever told you that you have seeds or flowers or you have never told yourself.

So, today, assume you have been granted permission!

Each time you present, share, write ... tell yourself …

"I am the only one who can make this particular beauty; it is designed with my voice and my energy, which are undeniably unique."

"This story will be told only as I can tell it, only as I have experienced it, only as I have felt it.  My passion is what you will hear.  My excitement is what you will see.  My hope is what you will feel."

"Learning is an incredible experience, and I get the opportunity to extend learning for others with my words.  I get to give a new spin, provide a different perspective, move others to turn a corner, inspire listeners to act, ignite people to want to learn more, and more, and more …"

"Find the seed at the bottom of your heart and bring forth a flower."

And no shrinking violets when you present!  (Pun intended!)  Your message is amazing, and no one else will have the same message nor will anyone deliver that message just as you will deliver it.

In short, go forth, and bloom!

Be seen.  Be heard.  Be great!

A big "thank you" goes to The Purple Ink Café, which shared the Kameoka quote and inspired this blog entry that had me tap into the softer side of B!
